Trying Out the Trendy TikTok Skincare Recommendation: Hada Labo Premium Hydrating Lotion (First Impressions)

Hada Labo’s been getting quite the rave on SkinTok these days and of course I had to see what the hype was about. Last night didn’t have any moisturizer but luckily, my cousin had some - it was the Hada Labo Premium Hydrating Lotion. I knew I had to try it out. (Thanks, girl!) A few weeks ago, I was considering the Hada Labo trends and trying it out. I was even eyeing a different product of theirs but had the Premium Hydrating Lotion as a strong second because of how popular it was. I mean, it had to be the most popular for a reason. So upon seeing it on the bathroom sink, I took it as a sign to give a few drops a shot.

A little goes a long way with this product. It is beautifully hydrating and did not leave my face greasy or oily. I didn’t have anything else on top except a bit of concealer, blush, and contour, and they held pretty nicely throughout the rest of the night. No creasing, no pilling. My skin felt hydrated throughout the entire time I was wearing it. (I also want to take note of my setting: it was night in an air-conditioned space, I didn’t sweat much and did not do strenuous activity)

What’s beautiful about this product is how it makes your skin feel spoiled with TLC by the simplicity and succinctness of its formula.

The Hada Labo Premium Hydrating Lotion mainly does one thing: It hydrates. It targets two concerns: roughness and dehydration. Three things you should know about its formula is: (a) it has 7 types of hyaluronic acid to fall deep into your skin to keep it silky smooth. (b) its formula is PH-balanced, making it hydrating and soothing. (c) its texture is similar to that of essences, incredibly moisturizing with its hydrating consistency. And lastly, this product is free from four ingredients: fragrances, colorants, mineral oil, and alcohol.

My first impressions of the Hada Labo Premium Hydrating Lotion are pretty great. My skin did feel silky smooth, hydrated, and soothed too. My skin definitely felt all that love! I love that with this product alone, I don’t need to use any more products because it’s already so hydrating on its own! (Except for SPF in the day, of course.) And let’s face it, with the heat that we’re facing these days, the less products we have to use, the better.

These are of course my first impressions, stay tuned for an update on this product after 7 days of me testing it.
